Dr. Wolfe is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Wolfe completed a combined pediatrics and internal medicine residency at the Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital, with a chief resident year at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She then completed pediatric critical care medicine fellowship training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In 2013, she joined the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and is currently an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pediatrics, as well as an attending physician in the CHOP pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
In 2015, Dr. Wolfe completed her Master of Science in Health Policy Research as well as a Fellowship in the Center for Healthcare Science Improvement (CHIPS) at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation delivered at the bedside and using improvement methodologies to enhance teamwork and the delivery of guideline compliant care to improve outcomes after pediatric in hospital cardiac arrest. She is an expert on utilizing clinical event debriefing as a method to improve care in the pediatric intensive care unit. Her administrative roles broadly include quality improvement initiatives in the PICU and working as a medical director at the King of Prussia Campus Hospital.
